A Virtual Community Space for Founders Like Us*

This week, I hit ‘Create’ on a virtual community space for founders like us. We’re the founders who are building with a different future in mind, a more diverse and inclusive future where value is exchanged, not extracted.

The response was overwhelming, with over 150 people commenting with interest, and while there’s an administrative burden involved with getting folks into the space, I am really excited about what’s next!

It’s because I truly believe the concept of business has been so overtaken by extreme visions of competition and extraction, that there’s a real opportunity for founders who are truly motivated by community and value creation as values. I think we have a competitive advantage through our community mindset. The spaces I want to cultivate for founders are centered around it; I sincerely believe we can grow stronger companies, reach more of our respective customers, and fulfill our respective purposes through sharing resources, collaboration, and cross-amplification.
