Community is Key: Let's Move Forward

Since the 2024 election results came in, I’ve been in a perpetual state of fight or flight; I’m sure I’ve physically aged a year in the last 2 months, despite doing my best to rest, nourish, and move my body. I know I’m not alone. As we move into a new era in the journey towards a world that works for the majority, we’ve taken what feels like a large leap backwards, pushed by a united movement based on exclusion and othering.

No matter what stage of grief you’re in for the state of our shared society, I want to validate what you’re experiencing. It’s really all welcome: rage, apathy, exhaustion, determination, sadness, etc. In our little blip of a community, it’s welcome.

Community is what will drive us forward, it’s what will propel us through the muddied waters of what’s possible; it’s what will drive change for us and our businesses.

I’d love to invite y’all to a community gather with other impact and justice-focused founders. It’ll be an hour of release (you won’t have to hold your breath waiting for someone to defend the Tesla guy’s very clear salute to hatred as a mere wave of excitement, promise.)
